SPSU Mock Fraud Trial

Attorneys and Experts #1 2013 Group Photo #1 2013IAG Forensics & Valuation was proud to once again help Southern Polytechnic State University students in Professor Bill Beecken’s fraud examination class prepare for their mock fraud trial. Laurie Dyke, Karen Fortune, Pat Salem and Luke Thomas of IAG Forensics & Valuation advised two groups of students on preparing for and testifying as an expert witness in the area of forensic accounting. Vic Reynolds, Cobb County district attorney, and John Melvin, deputy chief assistant district attorney for white-collar crimes, also participated in the mock fraud trial as judge and prosecutor, respectively. Five Cobb County prosecutors, the FBI’s senior division counsel and a practicing defense attorney participated in this great event.
