In late 2011, we were contacted by the Atlanta Legal Aid Society to assist a single mother with a child support modification case. The mother’s former husband was seeking a downward modification of child support claiming his income had decreased. After analyzing numerous documents related to the husband’s business, we discovered the father’s income had actually increased. In April 2012, Karen Fortune’s testimony resulted in the mother’s child support payments increasing from $507 per month to $962 per month. The mother, attorney, and judge expressed their satisfaction with our services and complimented our level of professionalism and dedication to the client.
