Kilby Sentenced in Rabun County Case

On Friday, May 30, 2014, Lowanda “Peanut” Kilby, the former director of the Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter, was sentenced to 25 years with 15 years to serve.  In addition, she was ordered to pay $5,050 in restitution to Boggs Mountain and a $30,000 fine.  Ms. Kilby must also complete 1,000 hours of community service.
